Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but one I often skip and I know I'm not the only one. Life sometimes get us so busy we forget or that extra time in bed is just too tempting!
But when I do make time for breakfast, it's definitely one of my favourite meals! Whether it's a full English, cereal or something in between... There's so many delicious opinions!
And me and a few of the lovely girls from Coventry Bloggers got invited down to Esquires to try out their new Breakfast and brunch menu.
Esquires is definitely one of my favourite places in the city, so I was excited to try the new menu. And it definitely didn't disappoint, there is such a wide variety of breakfast and brunch items to choose from and something to suit everyone.
Whether you want a full English, either the traditional way or completely vegan friendly or something quick and simple like smashed avocado on toast or granola and Yogurt. There's also sandwiches, soups and jacket potatoes if the breakfast items don't float your boat.
I decided I'd try some of the sandwiches and my taste buds were definitely in for a treat. The sandwiches are served with a side salad and crisps, and come in a variety of different fillings. I tried the Glazed Ham and Smokehouse pork sandwiches.
The Glazed ham is served in a baguette with mature cheese, tomatoes and baby leaves. Ham and cheese is my go to sandwich filling and this was perfect, perfect amount of filling and just delicious.
The Smokehouse Pork was next level, my mouth is watering just writing this! It is served on malted Rustic bread, and paired with Swiss cheese and spinach. The flavours worked together beautifully and this was definitely my favourite of the two! The smokehouse pork was just heavenly and I would definitely order this again!
I also tried one of the pastries on offer, a crossiant with a raspberry filling. This would be perfect for breakfast on the go, paired with one of perfect coffees.
Overall, I really loved the food I tried and would highly recommend this new menu and Esquires. There's something for everyone and the atmosphere on Esquires is always so calm and relaxing, and the staff are amazing and so friendly.
