Taking a step back...

Hey Beauties, I've been trying to write this for ages, but it's really hard to get all the words out so I'm just gonna keep this as short and sweet as I can. I've mentioned before I have issues with anxiety, but one thing I've always kept a closer to my chest, is that I have depression and it's pretty severe.  And things are not in a good way for me at the moment, I've gotta go see a doctor about how things are with my depression and anxiety, and I need to take a break from a few things in my life, because I need to focus on making myself stronger, for myself and for the people in my life. And I think I need to take a step back from blogging, not completely, I will still try to post at least once a week. But there may be periods of time when I don't blog at all. But I need to focus on making myself and my health better, and it doesn't help me if I'm beating myself up because I haven't blogged as much as I planned to. I would

House to Home #1

Hey beauties, So as you all probably know, I moved into my own place in March and I'm rather excited about decorating it and making all homey & mine...and I thought I'd share updates on here on how it's going. There will be all sorts of posts in this series, D.I.Ys, Homeware and furniture hauls and before and after pictures of the flat. And I thought I'd kick start it all with a small homeware haul I did a few weeks ago in Ikea and a few other places. So let's get stuck in! The first thing I picked up(and the reason I went into the Ikea in the first place.), is this Helmer Drawer Unit .  I wanted something to keep all my make-up together in one place and this seemed like the perfect size for my collection. It took me ages to put together (Me and flat pack are mortal enemies!)  but I love it! All put the bottom drawer is filled with make-up and I keep the bottom one for all my incense and candles. I picked up the Skurar candle holder , to us

Lush Review: Breath of Fresh Air Toner

Hey Beauties, So since yesterday, I posted up a Lush haul, I thought today I'd post up something I bought back in February which I have been loving ever since. Back at the start of the year, I was on a hunt for a new toner to try as I'd be skipping that step for quite awhile and I wanted to improve my skin, and had looked into the benefits of a toner and decided I needed to find one that was suitable for my skin. My first stop was Lush, where I tried a few of the toners they had available and decided to buy Breath of Fresh Air and see if I like it, and it's been a fixed part of my skincare rountine ever since. What Lush Say:  This is the most refreshing of all our toner water, with mineral-rich Carrageenan seaweed extract and rose absolute to tone and balance the skin.  This is perfect to use as a spritz in the summer to cool down, or any time of year when you want to feel refreshed. Rose absolute will help to reduce redness whilst patchouli oil is cooling and

April Lush Purchases.

Hey Beauties, We all know about my addiction to Lush, and it's no surprise that in April I picked up a few items! I was good in April and picked up only 3 items.  And I'm already counting down till the next payday so I can go pick up a few more items, especially another bath bomb! Lush is the perfect place if you want something for a pamper evening, so many products for all sorts of pampering needs! And their skincare and bodycare range (which i'm still pretty new too) is pretty amazing too, I have a couple of items from their skincare range which have become staples in my skincare rountine. So the first thing that went into my bag was the Sakura   bath bomb. I first tried this back in March and had no idea what it was called (I was told but i'm very forgetful). It's a gorgeous floral scented bath bomb and floral scents are hit and miss with me, but this one is definitely a hit! The Cherry Blossom scent is beautiful and soft, but lingers in the air and o

The Simple Pleasures: A day away from Coventry.

Hey Beauties, It feels like forever since I last did a 'Simple Pleasures' post! And I thought I'd start with one of my favourite things to do, and something I haven't done for a very long time, so it was long over due. On Saturday, I finally got out of Coventry for the day and It was Bliss! Coventry isn't 100% bad, but sometimes living in a city can feel very stuffy and crowded. And you need to escape to somewhere less busy, and if your like me, somewhere beautiful and with a lovely park to roam through. And for me, that place is in Leamington Spa. It's easy to get to from Coventry but far enough for me to feel the stress of city life just drop away for a couple of hours, and when you add good company to that mix, it makes it even better. I know next time I go Leamington Spa, I am taking my Camera and a bit of spending money...Space NK and Cath Kidson were tempting me oh so much! It was a lovely day away from the Coventry, sitting by the river

Review: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

Hey Beauties, It feels like ages since I last did a review, so I thought I'd get back into the swing of reviews by sharing my thoughts on one of my current favourite skincare products,  Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.   I never really got into the whole Bioderma and Micellar Water craze, but when I saw that Garnier had bought out their own version, I decided to give it a try. What Garnier say: A super efficient and gentle way to cleanse, remove makeup, soothe the feel of skin and hydrate in just one step – it’s not magic, it’s Garnier Micellar! Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water contains micelles which act like magnets, gently lifting away makeup and impurities from the skin, without the need to rub or rinse. The result? Beautifully cleansed and refreshed feeling skin in an instant. The formula is suitable for the face, eye area and lips, has no perfume and comes in a generous 400ml size. Price: £4.99 (But look out for it in Savers, as I have seen it in there

O0TD: It's all a gamble, When it's just a game.

Hey Beauties, I've never done a Outfit Of The Day (OOTD) post on the blog before and I very rarely have the confidence in myself to put a post up which shows full length body shots, but I've been slowing becoming more comfortable in my skin since going down a size or two (I'm still not what I would call my 'Ideal Size', but I'm a lot happier in my body than I was last year ), and I decided to finally post one! I love looking at OOTDs on other blogs, as everyone has their own personal style and I like seeing how different people style up the same dress etc, and I believe everyone should be free to express themselves in the way they dress....whether it's a Gothic look, really girly or sporty....everyone is unique and beautiful in their own right! And so I thought I will share my personal style on my blog from time to time. I wouldn't really know how to class mine personally, as sometimes I can be really 'girly', and the next day i'll

Mouthy Mondays: 2014 Goals...A recap.

Hey beauties, Happy Monday! I'm finally back blogging, April wasn't a great month for me and I just didn't want to post something that was half hearted and lacked my usual passion for the blog. so I took a short break away from the blog so I could sort myself out and recharge my blogging batteries so I can come back dancing and singing! And here I am! Ready to get back into the swing of things again! And I thought I'd start with a recap on my Goals for the 2014, as it's half way through the year next month (Scary Thought Alert!). I've achieved some and made steps towards achieving others, so let's get stuck in! 1. Get my first tattoo and another (or two piercings). I had this goal half done in January! I finally decided to get my lip pierced and ended getting my nose done as well as the shop (Raven Art Tattoo Studio) has  a 2 for 1 piercing offer on Tuesday on (They also do tattoos so I will be going to them to get that done too!). I stil
