A small update.

Hey Beauties,
Just a little head up as I'm gonna be missing from the blog for a week or two at least as I'm moving to my own place in the next week :)
I'll be back as soon as I can.
Till the next time,
Gemma. ..xXx..

Review: Garnier Simply Essentials Soothing 2-in-1 Make Up Remover

Image
Hey beauties, Today I have a review of the product I currently use to remove my make up. I bought this last year just before Micellar Water took over and became the number one make up remover, as I read a review on it and it seemed exactly what I was looking for at the time. What Garnier say: Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Make-up Remover is a bi-phase product for the whole face, combining make-up removing oils and cleansing water.  Dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested. Price: 3.25 for 200ml. Where to buy: Drugstores across the UK and Online here. My Thoughts: I have mixed feelings on this product. At first I really enjoyed it, it took my make-up off really well, even eye make-up. It says suitable for sensitive skin and it didn't stink my eyes at all so that's a plus. But it made my skin feel so greasy! There was so much residue left on my skin and it felt horrible, that really can't be good for the skin. I always follow this up with another cleanser as I would hate to think of …

Baking Beauties Tag.

Image
Hey beauties,

So I first saw this tag on the Dungarees And Donuts, A blog by a lovely girl called Jess (You can check out her blog here...go have a read as she's lovely and so is her blog.) And as I love baking myself and want to make a business out of it one day, I'd thought it be fun to do this tag on my blog!

So go grab a slice of cake and enjoy!

1. What is the first thing you remember baking?
Probably fairy cakes, I remember when we first started to learn to bake in Primary school and I think this was the first thing they taught us.

2. What was the last thing you baked?  Victoria sponge cake...simple but a classic.

3. Something you've always wanted to bake?

Many many things! I'd love to bake a Christmas cake but it's having the time to do it all as it takes a lot of preparation.

4. Tell us about a time you baked something and it went ridiculously wrong.

A few weeks ago...I tried making Creme Egg brownies but the brownie mixture wasn't quite right and they ended up …

My Week #5

Hey Beauties,
I haven't done one of this in awhile...I was gonna do one two weeks ago but it was the same day I re-homed my kitten and I wasn't in a good place so I keep away from the blog.
This week has been pretty busy, and stressful at times. I won't go into detail, but I fell out with someone very close to me (and we've made back up now), but at the time it hit me quite badly and it wasn't the best of times for my Anxiety so towards the end of the week I just wanted to hide away from the world and forget everything.
I've been getting back into my baking a lot recently, having a oven that actually works readily available for me to use has been a key for this, but I've got my passion back and I haven't really experimented yet, just stuck to the basics, but I can't wait to get trying more and more recipes!
So thats pretty much my week in a nutshell!
How was your week lovelies?
Till the next time,
Gemma ..xXx..
